- 1.The Contractor shall provide labor, transportation, collection, removal, and destruction for the disposal of Chemotherapy Waste (which is a Regulated Medical Waste) and Chemotherapy Waste that meets Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) criteria generated by the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System (VASLCHCS), 500 Foothill Boulevard, Salt Lake City, Utah 84148, as specified in the Bid Schedule and in accordance with the terms and conditions for this contract. These are two separate waste streams. Services are required for one base year and up to four option years. This solicitation is issued UNRESTRICTED. NAICS code for this procurement is 562111. Request for Proposals will be issued on or about 03/05/2010 with a due date of 04/05/2010 at 1:00 PM local time. Potential offerors shall submit proposals to the address located in block 9 of SF 1449 of the solicitation. DO NOT CALL WITH QUESTIONS - questions should be emailed to Richard.garrard@va.gov.
