- (Subject Continued) PROJECT NUMBER 47009005, Construct New Barracks to Replace Outdated, Energy Inefficient Barracks (Bldg TR-10), PROJECT NUMBER 47009006, Construct New Barracks to Replace Outdated, Energy Inefficient Barracks (Bldg TR-11) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RECOVERY Per FAR 5.7 This notice is provided for information purposes only. Therefore FAR 5.203 does not apply. This contract action is being awarded pursuant to the Small Business contracting authority of the SBA 8(A) Program. This opportunity is available only to one SBA approved 8(A) contractor under solicitation W912L7-10-R-0003; DUNS #931157361, ICON Construction, Inc. The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Size Standard is $33.5M. The Magnitude of Construction in Accordance with the FAR PART 36.204 is between $1M and $5M (Total of all 4 projects). The work shall consist of the following: Design/construct New Barracks to Replace Outdated, Energy Inefficient Barracks (BLDG. TR-08, TR-09. TR-10 AND TR-11). Project Nos. 4709003, 4709004, 4709005 and 4709006 (OSD #'s 2184,2185,2186,2187). The work in this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, appliances, and materials required to Design, Construct and Install Four (4) each, Forty (40) soldier (Modular Building) Barracks. The Government intends to negotiate and award the resulting contract to an 8(A) Small Business Company. The contract will be a single Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract.
