Description
The Joint Contracting Command-Iraq/Afghanistan (JCC-I/A), on behalf of the United States Forces - Iraq (USF-I), United States Division - Central (USD-C) intends to issue an award, on a sole source basis, to SOS International Ltd, 1900 Campus Commons Drive, Suite 250, Reston, VA for a requirement to provide Atmospherics Media Facilitators and Engagement Coordinator support for a full range of support to include monitors and tracks daily operations information, and maintains situational awareness and understanding of Iraqi and International media operations. The anticipated award date is 07 March 2010 under NAICS 541618. The period of performance will be for a 1-month base period with two 1-month option periods. The value of the contract is expected to be approximately $800K. SOS International Ltd is the only contractor that can currently provide the subject matter expertise needed by the USF-I/USD-C to support their mission and operations, by the required date of 8 Mar 2010. The award will serve as a "bridge" contract to provide essential continuity services until the contract awarded under Rock Island Contracting Center RFP W52P1J-09-R-0079, is fully capable to perform. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five days of this notice's publication it will be considered for future opportunities. It is by the discretion of the US Government to not open this requirement to competition. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii)-"Only One Responsible Source..."
