- This is an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) requirement for a total Annual Demand Quantity of 108 each under project Number IQC10035009022 for National Stock Number (NSN) 6150-01-327-6827. The government required delivery schedule is 176 days. The solicitation contains a firm fixed price for a 1 year base, plus additional 4- (1) one-year term option periods at the best interest of the Government. Variation in quantity is +/- 0%. There is a rate of 14 each for the Monthly Wartime Rate requirement. Unrestricted procedures are utilized under the guidelines of Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1). There are two approved source of supply for this item Custom Cable Solutions, INC. (1B5X6) Part Number 29104700 and GE Aviation Systems LLC (35012) Part Number 29104700. The item is an Electrical Special Purpose Cable Assembly for the highest priority Weapon System Designator Code {05A} CH-47 Chinook Helicopter. This item is deemed commercial. This is not an Export Control Item. The delivery terms will be FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination for DLA Direct stock buy. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
