- Description
- PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain information from suitable vendors pertaining to the accreditation of the Marine Corps' Family Advocacy Programs. Marine Corps sponsors are seeking information on national accrediting bodies providing such services for the complete array of their family services programs; including family support, counseling, case management, victim services and new parent support programming. Marine Corps Family Advocacy Programs must be on par with similar civilian child welfare and domestic violence service areas (prevention and treatment) and ensuring such programs are appropriately accredited is key to this process. Companies, or organizations that can provide such services relevant to national standards of practice at the Marine Corps eighteen (18) installations affected are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement. Firms with such qualifications should submit responses addressing the following core objectives in terms of their capabilities and experiences with family advocacy/counseling programs: 1) Ability to provide on-site accreditation reviews for clinical counseling; 2) Ability to provide on-going training and technical assistance to programs seeking accreditation; 3) Ability to establish a nationally recognized accreditation program model; and 4) Ability to liaison with installation staff and HQ entities on issues related to site accreditation planning and compliance. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed seven (7) pages, including cover letter, discussion and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance acumen directly related to the objectives stated; (2) Two customer citations describing similar work efforts; (3) Link to the respondent's appropriate GSA Schedules if applicable, or other Government-Wide Acquisition Contract vehicles; and (4) Other material relevant to establishing the core competencies of the firm. Also, please identify if your company is a non-profit, large or small business entity. Response is due by Wednesday, March 10, 2010, 2:00 p.m., EST. Please submit e-mail responses to Bradford L. Backus, RCO Customer Liaison, at email address: bradford.backus@usmc.mil. NOTES: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation whatsoever on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. The Marine Corps is neither seeking proposals nor accepting unsolicited proposals, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. See FAR 52.215-3. Should the resulting acquisition strategy indicate that a Federal Supply Schedule is most suitable for acquiring these services, only those firms responding to the this RFI will be considered for receipt of the RFQ. Request for Information or Solicitation is for planning purposes. Insert: Information ONLY.
