- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial itemsprepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announce-ment constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separate from this announcement. Solicitation DE-RQ65-10WG87147 is issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded using Commercial Item Procedures. This solicitation is full and open for competition. The North American Industrial Code (NAICS) is 811310 and the business size standard is $7.0 Million. COMMERCIAL ITEM SPECIFICATION TRANSFORMER KU1A, LIBERTY SUBSTATION, GASKET REPLACEMENT & OIL PROCESSING & VACUUM FILL SERVICES The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Liberty Substation requires the following: SEE ATTACHED PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT. COMPLETE BID SCHEDULE AND SUBMIT WITH PROPOSAL. Period of performance will be from date of award to approximately 27 Mar 2010. The following FAR clauses/provisions are applicable to this acquisition. Additional applicable clauses are attached to this announcement and include information that MUST be submitted with the proposal.
