- DRAFT Performance Word Statement - better defines job responsibilities so potential offerors may more accurately determine if they are interested in being considered for the distribution of the forthcoming solicitation. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO NOTIFY INDUSTRY OF THE USAF INTENT FOR CONTRACT ACTION AND TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS. This notice is posted for Sources Sought in the procurement of maintenance services for roll-up doors located on Beale Air Force Base, California. The government is considering whether to set-aside this acquisition for 8(a), HUBZone, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310, for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, and the small business size standard is $5 M. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. The Contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform duties as outlined in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement. The period of performance is anticipated to begin around 1 May 2010 and to continue until 30 Sep 2010. Contract may include up to four option years of which the period of performance will be on an annual basis, with the first beginning 1 Oct 2010 to 30 Sep 2011. If your company is an interested 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB firm and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by email to tiffany.cruthirds.ctr@beale.af.mil. Businesses may indicate interest in this acquisition by providing (1) company name, (2) point of contact, (3) phone and FAX numbers, (4) e-mail address, (5) street address, (6) servicing SBA office (7) and business status (8(a), HUBZone, and/or SDVOSB) in written form, on company letterhead. Your response must be complete and include this information or the Government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your response is requested by 1:00 PM PST on Monday, 8 March 2010. If you do not reply by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses received, this acquisition may be set-aside for 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB interests, or pursued as an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility.
