Description

RECOVERY – Audit of the Department of State Construction of Passport Facilities Funded by the Recovery Act THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009, Pub. L. 111-5. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY, IAW FAR 5.704, PUBLICIZING - PREAWARD. THE GOVERNMENT POSTS THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY, LABOR HOUR TASK ORDER UNDER THE EXISTING DEPARTMENT OF STATE PROFESSIONAL AUDIT AND ACCOUNTING SERVICES CONTRACT: LEONARD G. BIRNBAUM. THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: The overall objective is to evaluate the contracts awarded to construct and equip five new passport agencies and expand two existing locations. For the five new locations, the audit should review the Department‘s interaction with the General Services Administration for site selection, acquisition, and design and construction of facilities. The period of performance for this project is for ten months starting from the date of award of this task order.
