The Army Contracting Command Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, on behalf of the US ARMY ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking product information on state of the art technologies that can improve the design, manufacturing and overall effectiveness/performance of our stabilized handheld optical device systems The need exists Army-wide for a handheld optical device with sufficient magnification to enable the soldier to scan for objects at long distance ranges. These binoculars must possess sufficient resolution to aid the soldier in surveillance, detecting, identifying, and assessing battle damage on targets, and/or engagement. All data should be sent at no cost to the US Government by April 2, 2010 to the US Army ARDEC. ATTN: Margaret Stroynowski Bldg 10 Picatinny, NJ 07866-5000, email: margaret.stroynowski@us.army.mil.
