Description
Solicitation AirSage, an Atlanta based wireless information and data provider, has developed a new approach to gathering data about mobility throughout a region or on specific roadways. AirSage analyzes anonymous location and movement of mobile devices, which is derived from wireless signalling data, to provide new insights into where populations, are, were or will be, and how they move about over time and in response to special events or disruptions to the roadway network. With increasing fiscal constraints, limited resources, and growing management challenges, the need to prioritize investments and maintenance of America’s forests, parks, public lands, and transportation facilities has never been more pressing. Agencies must undertake extensive planning activities to better understand, among other things, travel demand and visitor demographics. This information provides a framework to guide decisions for actions, approved uses, and funding.
