- Description
- The United States Geological Survey, Western Ecological Science Center, Dixon, CA has a requirement for sample analysis for total mercury, monomethyl mercury, and other contaminates found in samples provided by USGS projects near the Cashe Creek and Bonanza-Riconada-Hardscrabble sites. The samples will be from the fish type California Roach. For additional details or a copy of the request for quotation (RFQ) please contact the Contracting Officer by email at sevans@usgs.gov. The acceptable methods for analysis are: EPA 1631E: Total Mercury in WaterEPA 1630 Modified: Methylmercury in Water (CV-GC-AFS)SM 2540 D: Total Suspended Solids in WaterEPA 1631, Appendix: Total Mercury in Sediment/SoilEPA 1630 Modified: Methylmercury in Soil/Sediment (CV-GC-AFS)EPA 1631, Appendix: Total Mercury in BiotaEPA 1630 Modified: Methylmercury in Biota. (CV-GC-AFS) All vendors must be accredited by the NELAC. Provide accreditation number. The RFQ, number 10WRQQ0134, will be made available through the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) on or about 3 March 2010, IAW Far 5.102(a)(1). All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov, as well as, the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for award. This is a total small business set-a-side. Interested parties should contact the Contracting Officer in writing by email at sevan@usgs.gov. This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-38, effective 1 February 2010. NAICS 541380 - Testing Laboratories.
