Description

The Northeast Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting quotes for a firm fixed price contract for construction services at the North Attleboro National Fish Hatchery, located in the Town of North Attleboro, County of Bristol, MA under the provisions of FAR Part 15, "Contracting By Negotiation". This action is a small business set aside in accordance with FAR Part 19. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials to Resurface five Concrete Fish Rearing Pools with a Fiber Reinforced Plastic Coating System, in accordance with the provided technical specifications and drawings. The magnitude of this work is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code corresponding to this work is 238390, with a small business size standard of $14 million annually. The Davis Bacon wage rates will apply to this contract. This station is located in North Attleboro, MA. The solicitation, technical specifications and drawings will be posted on or around March 16, 2010 and quotes will be due by COB on April 15, 2010. Electronic submissions will not be accepted. A Payment Bond at 100% or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit in lieu of a Payment Bond is required. A business must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov, and must have completed Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov, to be eligible for award. A site visit may be arranged by contacting the Hatchery Manager at (508) 695-5002. The North Attleboro National Fish Hatchery is located at 144 Bungay Road in North Attleboro, MA.
