- Solicitation No. W912C3-10-B-0002 - The contractor shall provide all equipment, insurance, materials, and professional expertise to perform water sampling and monitoring services of the Drinking Water Distribution System located at USAG Fort Buchanan (FTB) and US Army Reserve Centers (USARC). The contractor is responsible to perform the subject service in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Puerto Rico Department of Health (PRDH), and the Public Health and Safety Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, and any other applicable DOD, Federal, State, and local regulations. This acquisition is issued as a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable to this acquisition is 541380. This requirement will be result in a Firm Fixed Priced type contract. The period of performance is one base year with four option years for a total of five years possible, if the Government chooses to exercise the option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 18, 2010. The estimated closing date is April 1, 2010. The solicitation will not be mailed out. All interested sources may go to the Federal Business Opportunity website at: https://www.fbo.gov/ and/or to the Fort Buchanan website at http://www.buchanan.army.mil/Contracting/Opps and obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation. Bidders are responsible to ensure their bid package is received by the exact time, date, and specified location for receipt of bids. Interested bidders are responsible for continuing to monitor the websites for any/all future Amendments issued, if any. Interested bidders shall sign copies of any amendment issued and submit with their package. Telephone requests will not be honored. Bidders need to be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to submission of bid.
