- Amendment # 5 is hereby issued to answer Rquest For Information and to a add the Data Sheet which a digital copy (on a cd) needs to be submitted with the technical proposal. QUESTION 1: On page 1 of Section 01400 ("Quality Control", Item 1.1.D., it is stated: "Other quality control requirements for coordinated or systematic construction activities not related principally to a single individual section are specified in Division 1 Section ("System Quality Assurance"). a.　　 Division 1 Section ("System Quality Assurance") was not included with the bid documents.　 Please provide it. ANSWER: Please delete Section 01400 1.1.D in its entirety. It is not applicable to this project. QUESTION 2: Based on the drawings we see a total of 4 cameras #30 and 9 cameras #20, please confirm this is the correct amount. ANSWER: The number of cameras will be as show on the contract documents. QUESTION 3: Are There any specs for the cameras, like brand name, model, etc.? ANSWER: Yes, The camera specification is Section 282300. QUESTION 4: The documentation makes reference to a Command Room and the question is: Are There any specs for those equipments like DVR (Storage size, number of channels, etc.), Fiber Transceiver, Monitor size, Etc. Do we need to provide them? ANSWER: Please see Section 282300. QUESTION 5: All facilities infrastructure like conduits, junction boxes, wire ways, etc. will be done by other contractor Basically we need to provide a quote similar to this example: 1. Cameras a. Type #30 (4 units) b. Type #20 (9 units) 2. Other Equipments a. DVR b. Monitor c. Fiber Transceiver 3. Installation, configuration and training ANSWER: Conduits, junction boxes, wire ways are included in the contract and must be part of the price proposal. Please see Section 282300. QUESTION 6: We are very interested in knowing if you would prefer to keep on having the brand of cameras you already have in the federal building. If this is so, we need to know the brand name and if there is any special specifications that you may require. ANSWER: The camera specification is Section 282300. QUESTION 7: If you need a Digital Video Recorder (VDR), we also need to know: 1) For how long do you want to store the videos?; 2) How much compression do you want?; 3) Do you need a backup unit or you already have one over there?
