- MEAT REQUIREMENTS - FY10 3RD QTR This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Williamsburg, Salters, South Carolina, intends to issue solicitation RFQP03161000010, for the requirements of: 3rd QUARTER MEAT REQUIREMENTS. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, the NAICS code for this requirement is 424470; the small business size standard for Government procurement is 500 employees. Delivery dates will begin around April 1, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Williamsburg, P.O. Box 220, 8301 HWY 521 Salters, South Carolina 29590. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is March 11, 2010, 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site https://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed soley through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card. The following apply to this acquisition: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items-Price; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
