- RECOVERY - VIRGIN RIVER CANYON CAMPGROUND ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENT - The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting bids to demolish and remove approximately 505 SF of existing concrete sidewalks; to remove and reinstall one (1) Universally Accessible outdoor fire ring; to provide five (5)pre-engineered shade structures with concrete pads, two (2) new Universally Accessible outdoor fire rings, construct approximately 620 SF of new concrete sidewalks, and approximately 800 SF of new compacted and hardened surface graveled paths at the Virgin River Canyon Campground, located in Mohave County, Arizona, and is subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates. This project is funded from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009. As such, it is subject to specific quarterly reporting and Buy American Act requirements to be met by the contractor. The period of performance is 120 calendar days from notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this project is 237990, with a size standard of $20 million annually. This project is a total small business set-aside, with an estimated magnitude of between $100,000 and $250,000. A firm-fixed price award is anticipated.
