- This task is an urgent and compelling requirement iaw FAR 8.405-6(b)(3) to replace the Dental vacuum tank for the Medical Treatment Facility at Tinker AFB, OK. This replacement is needed because if the remaining tank ruptures, bio-hazardous waste will contaminate the mechanical room causing the main dental clinic to be shut down. This will leave Tinker AFB without dental support for patients & providers, causing an increased financial cost to the government. Due to the mssion critical need of this requirement, an urgent and compelling IAW FAR 8.405-6(b)(3), firm fixed price call order modification was awarded to Kroeschell Engineering for the replacement of the dental vacuum tank at Tinker AFB Medical facility. A lapse in this service will severely impact patients, cause financial problems for the Government and impact the entire mission at Tinker AFB Medical Facility.
