- The Army is seeking Historically Black Colleges or Universities or Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI) capable of investigating available data sets and completing descriptive analyses of the incidence and direct costs (i.e. direct health care and non-health care costs) to the Army of injuries occurring during Basic Combat Training (BCT) and identifying predictors of BCT-related injury and predictors of high injury costs in the United States and its territories. Participation requirements - Sources must be able to demostrate the capablities to complete specified and unspecified tasks in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). To be considered for this sources sought notice, the college, university, or minority institution source must submit technical information explaining their capabilities. Additional Participation Requirements - Sources must include rough order of magnitude cost data. Sources must submit all information no later than 16 March 2010. This process does not lead to a procurement or contract of any kind. This information will be used to evaluate and review this potential capability within the United States and its territories for a possible HBCU/MI set-aside. No information or items submitted will be returned. If, as a source you believe you can meet these qualifications, please submit all required information to to the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, via e-mail at jonathan.lehmann@us.army.mil.
