- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division entered into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with EDO RSS, 18705 Madrone Parkway, Morgan Hill, CA, for a maximum ceiling amount of $11,082,004.00. The BOA covers a five-year period from the award date of 12 July 2007. The BOA includes line items for spares and replenishment acquisition, repair actions, calibration, assembly modification, design upgrades, depot part lay-in, engineering support and training services of EDO/RSS proprietary systems, assemblies and subassemblies in support of Special Projects Aircraft and P-3 Derivative Aircraft. Procurements under the BOA are conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is for the class of orders that may be issued by NSWC Crane under the BOA for a one-year period. Individual job orders issued by NSWC Crane will specify required tasks and all applicable terms and conditions. All responsible sources may inquire into the specific terms and conditions included in the BOA; such inquiries will be considered by this Agency.
