- The ASAO 8 anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to provide construction services to install an automatic door vestibule to complement the existing automatic sliding doors at all three primary care teams in building 504. The selected contractor will prepare final installation specifications in accordance with government provided concept drawings as well as local building codes. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 12, 2010. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET-ASIDE 100% TO ELIGIBLE SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS (SDVOSB). An organized pre-proposal site visit will be conducted. All interested firm must preregister for the site walk by 3/4/2010 @ 3:30 PM via email to Thomas.Lucas@va.gov. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov. No hardcopies will be available. Award will be made to according to sealed bidding procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 million. All interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/, also must be registered at the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/general_user/default.asp as a SDVOSB firm, and ensure current annual Representations and Certifications are filed online at https://orca.bpn.gov/.
