- Replace Four Liebert Air Handling Unit's and Controls (to be contractor-furnished), Host Mechanical Room, FAA Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), 299 Woolsey Road, Hampton, GA. The estimated price range is $200,000.00 - $300,000.00. Performance time is 120 calendar days (excluding moratoriums around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holidays, and NASCAR race weekends at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA - and exclusive of lead time for materials & equipment). The solicitation is issued under full and open competition. Issue Date: Tuesday, 3/2/2010. Proposal Due Date: Tuesday, 3/30/2010 at 4:00 p.m. EST. There will be a pre-bid site visit on Wednesday, 3/17/2010, at 1:00 p.m. All prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to attend (see solicitation). All prospective offerors should carefully watch this announcement for any amendments that must be acknowledged by the due date and time for offers. If there is a change in the pre-bid site visit, it will be posted on this announcement by way of an amendment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, with a size standard of $14 million. An offer guarantee is required, as well as payment and performance bonds after award. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
