- DESCRIPTION The McClellan Park Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA) is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small businesses that can provide Event Planning Services for the 2011 National Veterans Golden Age Games required by the Pacific Island Veterans Affairs, located at 459 Patterson Road, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96819, a Department of Veterans Affairs facility within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 21). The contractor will provide personnel, supervision and execute the Golden Age Games scheduled for May 23 through Jun 1, 2011. Some of the major responsibilities include: pooling existing community resources, manage and coordinate the competitions; plan, produce and manage tasks including some meals, ground transportation, awards distribution, online registration, fundraising, hospitality, Opening and Closing Ceremonies; recruit volunteers, schedule regular meetings of all committees, formulate committees required to assist in the overall planning of the Games, and coordinate with the National Veterans Golden Age Games Honolulu office. The Period of Performance is to begin on/about Jun 1, 2010 through Sep 30, 2011. The NAICS is 711310 and the size standard is $7.0 million.
