- ITEM DESCRIPTION: Seal Ring, Metal NSN: 5330-00-331-5586 SOLICITATION PERIOD: 14 days *ISSUE DATE: March 03, 2010 CLOSING DATE: March 17, 2010* *QUANTITY 1000 EA* SPECIFICATION: This is an Air Force Critical Safety Item (CSI). The requirements of CSI will be strictly adhered to. *In addition, Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) is required.* United Technologies (77445) P/N 4001642 *Acceptable Source: Kaydon Ring & Seal (75370)* and United Technologies (52661) DESTINATION: Defense Distribution Depot New Cumberland, PA *DELIVERY: 250 days (including time for processing FAT)* ACQUISITION NOTES: *This acquisition will contain a quantity option provision that will allow the Government to purchase additional units in an amount up to 50% of the base quantity should conditions warrant.* Unrestricted. NO DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE. It is the Government’s intention to use simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 to award a firm fixed-price contract.
