- THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION IS HEREBY CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY A SIMILIAR REQUIREMENT WILL BE RE-ISSUED UNDER THE FOLLOWING SOLICITATION NUMBER: N9833100B22 PRE-SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON MARCH 3, 2010 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION. NO FURTHER SOLICIATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Q9833100022 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 423520 with a Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: Please see Requirements 1 & 2 below for exact gravel specifications. DENA Road Maintenance requires minimum of 1000 yards D-1 spec. surfacing aggregate. Below are our required gradation specifications: All supplied materials must fall within these percentages ranges. First delivery of 500 yards will be 6/1/2010 with remaining gravel delivered by 7/19/2010. DELIVERY OPTIONS: The National Park Service may choose to pick-up and haul an additional DI-1 or 3" gravel at the same cost and within the same period of time with a minimum of 300 yards. Price shall include delivery to the Denali Park gravel storage area at mile 5 on the Denali Park road. Requirement 1: 1000 yd D-1 Specifications: Gravel shall meet the % retained gradation spec chart below. Gradation breakdown- Percent Passing SievesTyler -Sieve Size- Inches % Retained- NPS SPEC1 1" 100%.7500" 70-100%3/8.3750" 50-80%#4.1870" 35-65%#8.0937" 20-50%#40.0165" 8-30%#200.0029" 0-6% DENA Road Maintenance requires a minimum of 1000 cubic yards. Of 3" minus select granular backfill delivered to the mile 5 storage pit on the Denali park road. Requirement 2: Price shall include delivery to the Denali Park gravel storage area at mile 5 on the Denali Park road.
