- Description
- The U.S. Army Europe is conducting a Market Survey to identify Contractors capable of providing Theater Wide Appliance Repair services, to include Germany, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The Contractor shall perform repair, and management of repair parts and provisions of all utilities, necessary to satisfy the requirements. The contractor shall provide all necessary management, personnel, supervision, tools, vehicles, parts, materials, general and specialized equipment, electronic communication, to perform services on equipment. Appliances to be supported include but are not limited to: ranges, gas and electric; refrigerators and freezers; dishwashers, washers, dryers, built-in and freestanding, and non industrial icemakers. The contractor shall utilize only qualified personnel- Contractor employees must have training and qualifications required by Host Nation/EU authorities and comply with all Host Nation/EU and U.S. Government rules, laws and regulations. Period of Performance is 1 November 2010 through 31 October 2011 (Base Year), and 1 November 2011 through 31 October 2012(1st Option Year), and 1 November 2012 through 31 October 2013 (2nd Option year). This Sources Sought announcement is requested for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal (RFP), invitation for bid (IFB), request for quotation (RFQ), nor an announcement of a solicitation. The submission of this information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure these items, nor does the Army intend to award on the basis of this sources sought/market survey or otherwise pay for the information requested. Interested parties are invited to indicate their interest by providing a document outlining their capabilities based upon the above description. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government and should be sent within fifteen (15) calendar days of this announcement to sean.dehaas@eur.army.mil.
