Description
The proposed procurement is for (3 NSN’s), in accordance with approved parts numbers from one manufacturer. Small Business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Item(s) are not Critical Safety Item(s). Anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Quantity Contract. This proposed procurement contains an option to extend the Basic contract for up to 4 years, exercised in 1 year increments at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed four (5) years. Items to be shipped to various locations within the established minimum and maximum quantity limits, on an as needed basis. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of the offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Combined, all other factors will be significantly less than price. A best value determination will be based on all evaluation factors. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and Capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This solicitation will be issued on or about March 19, 2010. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. The solicitation will be available after issue date at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. 5330-01-293-9425, 6110-01-226-7605 and 6110-01-232-0071
