- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, is seeking qualified sources that can provide various EZ Loader Trailer parts to support EZ Loader Trailers including and not limited to the EZ 3700 25 Trailer, EZB 17-20 3100 Trailer, TALB 18-21 Trailer, and other non-standard trailers. These trailers are used on various Coast Guard platforms which include, but are not limited to the USCG 25’ RBS boat, USCG 25’ RBHS boat, USCG 23’ UTL boat, USCG 27’ UTL boat and the USCG 18’ SKF. All parts supplied must be genuine EZ Loader Trailer parts – no substitutes or aftermarket parts shall be accepted. All parts shall be preserved, packaged and marked in accordance with Coast Guard specifications. It is the Government’s belief that only EZ Loader Trailers, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or their authorized distributors possess the required capabilities to manufacture these parts to ensure compatibility and interchangeability with existing equipment, therefore it is the Government’s intent to solicit only EZ Loader and/or their authorized distributors. However, sources having the expertise and required capabilities to provide this equipment can submit their capabilities to this office within 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. Data submitted must include, (1) Complete and current technical and engineering data to demonstrate offeror capabilities, (i.e., salient physical, functional and performance characteristics), and/or, (2) Data that the offered equipment has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government, or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The information submitted must include sufficient information to evaluate offeror capabilities. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. Information received after the established deadline shall not be considered. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.
