Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement for Burbank Pumping Plant Nos. 2 and 3 Fishscreen Restoration. The work consists of demolition, removal, and disposal of the existing 12-inch concrete slabs of the fishscreen structures; removal and disposal of existing welded in-place fishscreens and associated trash conveying systems; removal and disposal of miscellaneous metalwork; control and dewatering of both Burbank 2 and 3 approach channels; excavating and reshaping existing channels to lower the existing fishscreen structure inverts; constructing embankments, as required; furnishing and installing new chain-link fencing at the existing structures; urnishing and placing new 18-inch concrete slabs at the lower invert elevations with upstream concrete approach aprons and 16-inch wide side walls to accept sloped trashracks; furnishing and placing 6-inch concrete extension slabs; furnishing and installing miscellaneous metalwork including trashrack guides and support beams, fishscreen guides, bulkhead gate guides, structure steel superstructure for trolley hoists, railing, walkway supports, walkway grating, safety ladders and cages to access hoists, electric hoists for bulkhead gates and fishscreens, and electric hoists for trashracks; furnishing and installing non-metallic trashracks; fabricating, painting, and installing four removable traveling belt screens; furnishing, painting, and installing bulkhead gates with slide gates; furnishing and installing automatic trashrack cleaning system; and furnishing and installing additional electrical wiring for the belt screens, belt screen water pump, and hoists. This requirement is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. This requirement will be acquired using sealed bid procedures. The estimated dollar range of this procurement is $1,000,00 to $5,000,000. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, and the small business size standard is $33.5 million.
