- This Presoliciation Notice VA-246-10-RP-0159 for Trash Removal and Recycling for Asheville, NC has been Amended: VA-246-10-RP-0159A-Please Note this is NOT a set-aside but will be advertise in the Solicitation as Unrestricted. Solicitation packages will be available on or about March 3, 2010. Proposals will be due on March 10, 2010 by 2:00 p.m. Est. time. No hard copy solicitations will be provided. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Asheville, NC located at 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805 has a need for Trash Removal and Recycling Services. Contractor shall provide for all management, supervision, licenses, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation and labor to develop and implement waste removal of regular waste and removal and recycling of recycle paper, cardboard, plastic containers and tin cans at the VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC. The NAICS code is 562211. Size Standard is $12.5 Million. Contract period will be April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 with four (4) one year renewable option years. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 13. Solicitation packages will be available on or about March 3, 2010. Proposals will be due on March 10, 2010 by 2:00 p.m. Est. time. No hard copy solicitations will be provided. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov.
