- Description
- RECOVERY: This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) procurement. Inclusion of unique provisions required implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror will be required. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for paving of the Bull Prairie accessible trail. The total distance of the project is 5566 feet. Surfacing will take place on an existing, native surfaced, accessible trail. Work consists of light excavation, embankment, application of base course and hot plant mix surfacing. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The estimated construction range of magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This acquisition is determined to be under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and posted for full and open competition. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and attachments will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website on or about March 16, 2010. To receive the Request for Proposal package and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website.
