- Solicitation N10PS30107 seeks fully Contractor furnished airplane flight services for one year (plus four options) consisting of multiple high wing nine seat aircraft (eg. DHC-6 or DO-228) configured for smokejumper operations, which are fully Contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Land Management fire management programs. The aircraft will be ordered on an on call basis subject to dispatch throughout the Lower 48 conterminous United States and possibly Alaska with no guarantee. Orders will be placed with successful contractors based on location, price, and availability of aircraft. Offerors may propose one or more aircraft with anticipated awards for multiple contractors. The contract includes government unilateral options of renewal for an additional four years after the base year. Potential duration of the contract could be five years. The Contractor shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 121 or 135. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 4, 2010 with a projected closing date of March 31, 2010. It is a requirement that the successful awardee be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). The solicitation will be posted here as well as http://amd.nbc.gov under 'Current Solicitations' under Business Opportunities. The solicitation is unrestricted.
