- Description
- This solicitation is to result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract with a base period of one year with provisions for 4 one-year option periods covering NSN 6680-01-274-7623, Transmitter, Liquid Simmonds Precision Products CAGE 89305 P/N 472465-126. The estimated annual quantity is 24 EA. The guaranteed minimum is 6 EA which is applicable only to the base year. FOB Origin Inspection Acceptance Origin. Solicitation will be issued Unrestricted on an Other Than Full and Open Competitive basis. Item is used in support of the F-16 Aircraft. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. The expected issue date is March 17, 2009. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
