- Description
- The Forest Service is requesting proposals for replacement and upgrade of the drinking (potable) water distribution system within Gillette and Lake Gillette Campgrounds. Location is approximately 24 miles east of Colville, WA, along Highway 20. Work items includes installing approximately 3,000-ft of mainline (sizes 1', 1-1/2', 2' and 2-1/2' pipe), 1100-ft of service lines (sizes 3/4' and 1' pipe), several campground hydrants, pump-house plumbing and relocating/upgrade of the electrical service. Additional work will require demolition of an existing wood building and electrical components, road crossings, and site preparation for installation of Government Furnished precast concrete buildings and placement of Government furnished aggregate. All work is to be completed by June 30, 2010. Solicitations will be available on or about March 16, 2010. A site visit is tentatively set for April 6, 2010 at 9:00 am meeting at the Gillette Campground. Estimated project value $100,000 to $250,000, NAICS 237110 with size $33.5 mil. The project is a HUBzone set aside.
