- Description
- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for Enterprise-class computer systems. The computers are designed to run seismic processing software which produce rapid estimates of global earthquake locations, magnitude, and other source properties. The required computer systems are customized for dependability, robustness, and performance. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm Fixed Price type of contract. The computer systems shall be delivered within 2 months. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about March 4, 2010. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as small business set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 and size standard is $25.0 million. There is not an incumbent contractor.
