- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. RECOVERY TAS::21 2022::TAS, PPS# 35605, Replace Outdated Chillers and Boilers Replace AHUs at Bldg 87017. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. CONTRACT W91151-10-C-0017 WAS AWARDED TO Northcon, Inc. of Hayden, Idaho, as a sole source 8(a) construction contract under the authority of FAR Part 19.8, and DFARS 219.800, the Partnership Agreement between the Small Business Administration and the Department of Defense. The purpose of this project is to remove failed Air Handler Units (AHU) and Makeup air units (MZU) and install 2 replacement AHUs and 2 replacement MZUs for building 87017.
