- The US Army Contracting Command, AMCOM Contracting Center, anticipates a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF) modification to existing contract W58RGZ-09-C-0153 with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., Poway, CA for new Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) to Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) transition Extended Range/Multi-Purpose Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Quick Reaction Capability (QRC). The effort will be performed at the UAS Training Base, Ft. Huachuca, AZ; Dugway Proving Grounds, UT; National Training Center, CA; Edwards Air Force Base, CA; El Mirage, CA; and other CONUS sites in support of QRC training, operations and equipment maintenance. The OCONUS support will be for ER/MP QRC I, IR, and QRC 2 unit deployments. The planned period of performance is twelve (12) months. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this contract modification shall be awarded on an other than full and open competitive basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. Award to other than intended source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements. All responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered. All responses should be directed to Patricia J. Vail at patricia.vail@us.army.mil and must be received within fifteen (15) days of this notice. This notice of intent to negotiate a sole source modification to Contract W58RGZ-09-C-0153 is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a formal notice of solicitation.
