- Description
- The 5th Contracting squadron requires repair of Launch Facility Service Entrance Conductors, Minot AFB Missile Field Complex, ND. The work is 100% electrical with a minimum of $25,000 and a maximum of $450,000. The Performance Period is 365 calendar days with an option year. Work shall be executed in accordance with the required government specifications. Water and electricity required will be furnished by the Government. The work is in a restricted area. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A one-year Warranty of Construction will be applicable to this requirement. Contractor must furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to complete the project as indicated in the drawings. Work includes, but not limited to, removing existing and installing new secondary conductors and conduit as required and explained in notes and drawings. It is unknown if the existing conduit is suitable for reuse, therefore conduit shall be replaces as identified in notes and bid as per bid schedule. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors); The Business Size Standard is $14,000,000 in average annual receipts for the last three years. The complete solicitation package, which includes the project plans and specifications, will be made available without charge only through the FedBizOpps website at https://fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FedBizOpps. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to keep updated. The intended type of contract is a Firm-Fixed-Price IDIQ. Terms will be a Base Year and one Option Year. This project will be solicited as full and open to both large and small businesses with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ Contract based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process. FAR clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns is applicable to this solicitation. Solicitation will be available electronically on FedBizOps on or about 15 March 2010 with an anticipated closing date on or about 15 April 2010.
