- Description
- The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, supervision, and any items necessary to perform storage and Central Issuing Facility (CIF) services at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, NJ (as specified in the Performance Work Statements (PWS)). Contractor tasks will include but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide the necessary personnel for a warehouse operation of 40,960 sq. ft. to support over-the-counter, bulk issue and turn in of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE), and Interceptor Body Armor (IBA), to mobilizing and demobilizing units, Soldiers, Airman, Sailors, Marines, ROTC, JROTC USAR, NG and designated as approved by the Government POC. The services shall consist of property control, storage and services associated with providing and controlling the above listed equipment. The Contractor shall provide the necessary personnel support for the operation of the Logistics Supply Support Service. Personnel will be required to perform all standard receiving, storage and shipping support for supply classes I, II, III (Bulk and Packaged), VII and IX. This is a commercial acquisition. This pre-solicitation notice is a request for proposal and is issued as a 100% 8a Competitive Set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code 4225, NAICS code 493190. The contractor shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DOD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 10 March, 2010. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS Website) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 87 CONS. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
