- The Omaha District, US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking qualified members of the Small Businesses Community (Small Businesses (SB) Small Disabled Small Business (SDB) Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) Service Disabled Veteran Owned SB (SDVOSB) Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HubZones) and Section 8(a) Participants) or small business-led teams, and small business joint ventures and Other than Small (OTS) concerns that qualify under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction for the following requirement located in the state of Colorado. The principal components of the work to be performed may include vertical construction, site work, and electrical, mechanical, minor hazardous and toxic waste or could be construction or design/build only in the Rocky Mountain Area under a MATOC. This announcement is part of our market research, and your responses are sought to identify sources that have the knowledge, skills, and capability to perform the work. Interested contractors, including small businesses and small business-led teams that qualify under NAICS Code 236220 are hereby invited to submit a response to the market survey to demonstrate their technical, managerial and business capability to provide the requested services. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR A FORMAL PROPOSAL. This notice is provided as information only and is an invitation for an expression of interest and demonstration of capability to perform the anticipated work. The Government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted in response to this sources sought. The results of this market research will be used to determine the acquisition strategy for the proposed contract action. All interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this sources sought request. Interested Contractors must furnish the following information: General Information 1. Company name, CAGE Code, DUNS Number, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address as reflected in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contracts can only be awarded to firms who are currently registered in CCR and ORCA. 2. Business size in relation to the NAICS code listed. Must be identified in your CCR registration. 3. Bonding limits for your company. Include individual contract and aggregate limits. 4. Has your firm worked as a prime contractor on previous Federal construction contracts? Related Experience and Past Performance Information 1. Provide a list of no more than five projects, awarded under NAICS Code 236220, that were completed within the last five years. Include agency name, contract amount, and completion date. Indicate if your firm served as prime or subcontractor. Responses to this announcement may be sent electronically to tricia.l.meinders@usace.army.mil and should arrive no later than 0800 hours CST March 12, 2010. Responses should be limited to no more than 10 pages. Questions should be forwarded to the email address above.
