- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE UTILITY CONTRACTOR LOCATED IN SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK. This is not a solicitation. The USFWS Region 5 has a requirement for delivery and installation of a mounted transformer for the new Administration/Visitor Center Facility located at the Long Island Complex National Wildlife Refuge, Suffolk County, Shirley, New York. It is the intent of the government to award a purchase order to the local utility company under the authority of Federal Acquistion Regulation (FAR Part 6.302-1(b)(3). The selected vendor is Long Island Power Authority. The purchase order will be fixed price. The NAICS code is 236220. PROJECT INFORMATION: The work shall consist of installing a one pad mounted transformer, complete installation of cable on riser pole and install meter and wire current transformer for the new facility.
