- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division intends to issue a Sole Source purchase order to North Star Scientific Corporation (NSSC) for the acquisition of a Multi-Vehicle Communication System (MVCS) RF Matrix Switch, Part No. 03-02-005-00. This purchase is not suitable for Full and Open competition for the following reasons: NSSC is the only manufacturer of an off-the-shelf militarized RF Switch that meets MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-801 and the minimum performance requirements. The expected award date will be on or about 16 March 2010. Shipment will be FOB Destination.
