- Clarification is being provided on the following questions: Q1. Regarding the REIL; did you mean 5000 cd visable high or did you mean 15000 cd as per L849 style E? A1. 5000cd is the desired “HIGH” setting. The specifications of this RFI is an attempt to amalgamate various FAA/ICAO/NATO/DOD requirements into those practical to the EAF mission. Q2. Regarding the threshold light; do you require the horizontal to be 180 degrees and not 10 degrees? A2. The stated requirement requires clarification. The specified intensity shall be consistent throughout +/- 5 degrees of the beam centerline. It is further desired that the specified color be visible throughout the remaining area of the horizontal plane with no minimum intensity.
