- The United States Air Force through Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC) at Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is intending to procure overhaul of line items cited below for a FFP Requirements Contract. This is a competitive overhaul effort. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued 15 March 2010, Closes 15 April 2010. 2. RFP# - FA8119-10-R-0023 3. PR# - FD2030-09-07175 4. Nomenclature/Noun - Sliding Window Assembly 5. NSN - 1560-00-860-1911 & 1560-00-860-1912 6. PN - 5-71762-13 & 5-71762-14 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - KC-135 Aircraft 8. AMC - R 1/C - Suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time. Approved sources: Mission Support Inc., USM Aerostructures Corp. 9. History - last buy Oct 2004, Mission Support Inc, Qty: 274 each. 10. Description: These line Items below are total Small Business Set aside. Line Item 0001: 1560-00-860-1911: Overhaul of Left Hand Window Assembly which provides viewing capabilities to the flight crew and can be used for emergency egress. The Left Hand Window Assembly is made of Aluminum alloy, tempered glass and steel with dimension: 26''L x 28''H x 6'' W. Weigh 32 lbs. Quantity: Basic year: 52 each, Option I: 41 each, Option II: 44 each Line Item 0002: 1560-00-860-1912: Overhaul of Right Hand Window Assembly. Description is the same as line item 0001. Basic year: 52 each, Option I: 39 each, Option II: 45 each. Line Item 0003 - qty 1 lot, Over and Above Line Item 0004 - qty 1 lot, Data Item Required Delivery - 5 per month beginning 30 days ARO 11. The proposed contract action is for overhaul for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of sources. This notice is a request for competitive proposal. All proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
