- Wage Decision WI5 Specifications Drawings Solicitation document AG-5680-S-10-0002 This solicitation is associated with the Pre-Solicitation R368844. The scope of work is as follows: The successful bidder will provide all materials, labor and equipment to remove and replace an existing 78-year old, 7-stop, 6,000 lb capacity traction freight elevator including the cab, doors, controls, hoist and all other related mechanical, electrical and plumbing work in accordance with all plans and specifications and documents associated with this solicitation, amendments and subsequent award documents. The work includes construction of new walls and doors, relocation of existing fire alarm systems and other related work to define a new Fire Command Center within the existing building. The work also includes minor finish carpentry, patching and painting related to replacement of the elevator and of trim and woodwork at each elevator stop. This work will strictly adhere to local and national building codes. There will be no bid bonds required for this solicitation but construction bonding and insurance will be required to perform the work. This solicitation is restricted to 8(a) concerns only. The solicitation will close on April 01, 2010 at 2:00 PM Central Time. This solicitation will result in firm fixed price contract. Duration will be 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The applicable NAICS code and size standard for this acquisition are 236220/$33.5M. The estimated range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be issued as a set aside 8(a) Small Business Concern registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-704 “Required Central Contractor Registration,” contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov or contact our local Procurement Technical Assistance Center at http://ptacpr.com. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (Cage Code). Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. In order to be included in the official list of interested vendors, prospective offerors or interested parties must post the required information on the FedBizOpps website as an interested vendor.
