- Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) has a requirement for a new projection system and HP workstation upgrades for the US Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Command (ARDEC) Immersive Engineering Lab (IEL) located at Rock Island Arsenal which will allow ARDEC to better enable design and review of products and equipment in the virtual space rather than with physical prototypes and support a more detailed analysis during the immersive design reviews. Projection system to consist of the following: projectors (total of 4 each), projection mounting platform (total of 4 each), projection system cabling (for each projector), video graphics card (total of 4 each)., Quadro G-Sync II card (total of 4 each), setup and maintenance operation documentation, installation of new projectors and removal of old, new controller system (total of 1 each), and on-site support during warranty period with vendor. Request for Quotation W52P1J-10-T-5002 will be issued on a full and open basis and be conducted under FAR Part 12 Commercial Acquisitions. The solicitation will be available on or about March 10, 2010 at the Army Single Face to Industry Website (AFSI) https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm. All responsible offerors who submit a proposal/quote will be considered. In order to receive an award from the Department of Defense, all vendors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award.
