- The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center - Long Range Enforcer Product Line - Oakland, CA, proposes to contract the Post Shakedown Availability on USCGC WAESCHE (WMSL 751), a 418' National Security Cutter, whose home moorage is located at Alameda, CA. All work will be at the cutter's home moorage during the period 3 August 2010 through 4 February 2011. Work items include and are not limited to: Production Control GANTT Bar Chart, Provide; SCIF Bulkhead Closure; EDDU and Cabinet 18 Removals; NULKA Cable Re-Routing; Ventilation System Balancing; 02 Level Outfit Removals; 02 Level Deck covering; MPC Annex Bulkhead Insulation; MPC & MPC Annex Outfit; BERP Open/Close; Wx Deck Nonskid Renewal; HF Transmitter Room Hull Outfit; Rigging, Lifting, & Material Handling Support; Pierside Support Services; Temp Services, Dockside Provide; Meteorology System Upgrades; BDS Install; Overhead Light Fixture Mods. On or about 16 March 2010, a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fbo.gov. This is a Total Small Business set-aside. Only 100% small business contractors may submit a proposal. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
