- RECOVERY-THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED IN WHOLE BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). This synopsis is for the purpose of announcing the following requirement: The Klamath National Forest requires rehabilitative efforts to be performed at the Orr Lake Campground. Work consists of: excavation, aggregate base, trail and campsite construction, well drilling, fishing platform installation, riprap and concrete. Plans, specifications, additional requirements, and the scope of work will be released with the solicitation document (SF-1449) on or about March 16, 2010 Construction shall NOT begin prior to July 31st THIS NOTICE IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The government estimate for this project is less than $100,000. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The solicitation and specifications will be released and posted to the FBO website (www.fbo.gov) on or about March 16, 2010. All proposals must be provided via the www.fbo.gov website. A site visit will be conducted during the 1st week of April 2010. Further details will be released when the solicitation document (RFP) is posted on the fbo.gov website.
