- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3459316A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38, effective date 11 Jan 2010; Defense DCN 20091229, effective date 04 Jan 2010; and AFAC 2009-1030 effective date 30 Oct 2010. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621. The business size standard is $12.5M. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J063. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7382. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for the following service: CLIN 0001: Install/Program new CPU, new power supply and perform testing for Fire Alarm System in bldg 402. Contractor shall include all required material, equipment, labor, and travel related to the installation of the new CPU, power supply, and reprogramming/testing of the system. Site visit to be available if requested. Brand name "Notifier" or equal characteristics accepted. Criteria for equal brand: Must be compatible with existing Notifier Alarm System. This will replace the existing Notifier CPU 3030D and power supply. Qty: 1 each Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (June 2008). FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
