- Project Description and Capability Survey This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to perform an extensive upgrade to the existing H2 High Enthalpy Ablative Test (HEAT) facility at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB TN. The modified facility, Mid-Pressure Arc Heater (MPAH), will test candidate materials and structures under controlled enthalpy and pressure loading, simulating hypersonic flight at altitude.
