- Description
- The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, CA intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Olympus America, Inc. to provide support, electronics and maintenance services to leased scopes. This procurement will also include leasing the following Olympus open market items: IS50017, IS40260, WA20023A, OTV-S7PRO, CLV-S40PRO, LMD-1950MD/HD and OTV-S7PROH-HD-L08E. This anticipated lease will include a base year with two, one-year options. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), FAR 6.302-1. This authority applies when supplies or a service required by the agency is available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. The equipment on lease carries a warranty that requires services only by Olympus America, Inc. Services by any other vendor would render the warranty void. This notice of intent is not a request for competition proposal, and no solicitation will be made available. All inquiries should be made within 7 days of this notice.
